At YEHALABS, customer satisfaction is important to us. This Refund & Returns Policy explains the conditions under which refunds, returns, replacements, or service adjustments may be provided for products and services offered by YEHALABS.

By purchasing our products or services, you agree to this policy.

1. Overview

YEHALABS provides customized and technology-based services, including:

  • 3D printing services

  • 3D modeling and prototyping

  • Recycled filament and material solutions

  • STEM and robotics training

  • Technology consultancy

  • Product development services

  • Digital and software-related services

Due to the customized and project-based nature of many of our services, refund and return eligibility may vary depending on the type of product or service purchased.

2. Non-Refundable Services

The following services are generally non-refundable once work has started or materials have been allocated:

  • Custom 3D printing jobs

  • 3D modeling and design services

  • Prototyping projects

  • Consultancy and advisory services

  • Software and website development services

  • STEM and robotics training sessions have already been delivered

  • Customized educational materials

  • Digital products and downloadable files

3. Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be considered under the following circumstances:

a. Service Not Delivered

If YEHALABS is unable to deliver the agreed service due to internal issues, customers may be eligible for a partial or full refund.

b. Duplicate Payments

Accidental duplicate payments will be refunded after verification.

c. Incorrect Product Delivery

If the wrong physical product or material is delivered, customers may request a replacement or refund.

d. Manufacturing Defects

For physical products produced by YEHALABS, replacement or refund requests may be considered if there is a verified manufacturing defect.

4. Custom 3D Printing and Prototype Policy

Because 3D printing and prototyping are highly customized processes:

  • Customers are responsible for reviewing and approving designs before production.

  • Minor variations in color, surface finish, dimensions, or texture may occur during manufacturing.

  • Refunds are not provided for issues related to approved designs or customer-submitted files unless there is a clear production error by YEHALABS.

If a production issue occurs due to our error, we may offer:

  • Reprinting

  • Repair

  • Replacement

  • Partial refund

  • Service credit

at our discretion.

5. Training and Educational Programs

Payments for training programs, workshops, and educational sessions are generally non-refundable.

However:

  • Participants may request rescheduling based on availability.

  • If a participant transfers to a lower-priced course, the remaining balance may be converted into store credit or used toward future services instead of being refunded.

6. Return Conditions for Physical Products

To qualify for a return or replacement:

  • The item must be reported within 7 days of delivery.

  • The product must not be intentionally damaged or misused.

  • Proof of purchase may be required.

  • Customers may be asked to provide photos or videos showing the issue.

Returned items may be inspected before approval.

7. Cancellation Policy
a. Before Work Begins

Orders or services cancelled before production or work begins may qualify for a partial or full refund, depending on preparation costs already incurred.

b. After Work Begins

Once production, design, development, or consultation work has started, refunds may not be available.

8. Shipping and Delivery

Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information.

YEHALABS is not responsible for delays or losses caused by:

  • Incorrect addresses

  • Courier service issues

  • Customs delays

  • Events beyond our control

Shipping fees are generally non-refundable unless the error was caused by YEHALABS.

9. Refund Processing

Approved refunds may be processed through:

  • Bank transfer

  • Mobile payment

  • Original payment method

  • Store credit

Refund processing times may vary depending on the payment provider and verification process.

10. Limitation of Liability

YEHALABS shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential losses

  • Loss of business opportunities

  • Damages resulting from improper product usage

  • Customer errors in submitted files or specifications

11. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify or update this Refund & Returns Policy at any time. Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.

Important Payment Notice

Before making any payment, please carefully note that YEHALABS does not provide a money-back guarantee unless an issue, error, or failure arises directly from our side.

Due to the customized and project-based nature of our services, payments made for completed work, allocated materials, consultations, design services, training, or production processes are generally non-refundable.

Payment Structure
  • Initial payment requirement: 50% advance payment or a minimum of 500 Birr
  • The remaining balance must be completed before final delivery unless otherwise agreed in writing.
